actually life-changing… it’s always hard to describe the experience of seeing one of your all-time fav artists but also i think niki’s music accompanied my time in college while i was figuring a lot of things out so it was really meaningful. oceans and engines is an extra special one, as the song walked me through the first big goodbye to home off to college, the passing of a dear friend, and also navigating in a very difficult long-distance relationship. i came to realize that the way the song’s meaning shifted for me as my life experienced change was actually quite beautiful. and niki is very awesome for writing a song that can do that!

the live band was insane and loved all of her changes to the live performances of the songs compared to studio versions! also the setlist was amazing and MAD respect for getting tracks from nicole as well. i guess the one thing was that… why did they only play good luck babe and birds to a feather between the opener and niki LMAO
